Hi. I’m Amy.
I live north of Boston with my husband, daughter, son, and West Highland White Terrier. I grew up in New England but have traveled and lived in several countries including Honduras, Morocco, Ecuador and Germany. My children have been unschooled their whole lives. I am on the board of Advocates for Home Education in Massachusetts. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, sewing, walking in nature, and drinking too much coffee from my YETI mug.
To help people of all ages lead their boldest, most joyful lives through adventure, play, and creativity. To spread the notion that autonomous learning is the path to authenticity and wholeness. To bring laughter and light back into the world.
MY BACKGROUND and TRAINING
I have provided professional development to hundreds of K-12 teachers of English Language Learners.
I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont.
