Spring into Fall Mastermind
Paradox is everywhere, and, paradoxically, it can be both inspiring and paralyzing.
Take this time of year, for example. Here in the northern hemisphere the wind blows clear and crisp, leaves glow red and orange, apples squeeze their way into cider and pies, and pumpkin spice seasons everything from lattes to facials. Days shorten and early mornings go pitch black.
In the southern hemisphere, the opposite is underway. Muddy boots squish through thawing trails, flower buds unfurl to reveal every color of the rainbow, hot air balloons rise into the sky, and outdoor dining beckons. Daylight beats down on the land in ever greater quantity; night falls late and cool.
So which is it—fall or spring?
Could it be that it’s both? A time of planting and harvest? A season of beginnings and endings? An opportunity to see the light and the dark? A chance to live from a place of simultaneity, to go within and without?
Is it possible to grasp and release paradox, and thereby loosen the hold our fears and limits impose on us? To touch our authentic purpose and destiny in the process?
In the immortal words of Derek Sivers, hell, yeah. And we can do it—together.
What is it?
The Spring into Fall Mastermind is a fourteen-week investment in one thing: ourselves. The term “mastermind” has many connotations; for our purposes, it will signify a radical commitment to understanding who we really are and who we can truly be when we unearth our essence. Proceeding from a stance of courage and vulnerability, and with supportive, open-hearted facilitation, we’ll keep showing up, week in and week out, to examine and embrace all parts of ourselves, letting go of beliefs and patterns that no longer serve us, and inching toward the life we know we want to lead.
Who is it for?
People who have trouble turning off their brains, who sometimes stay mired in analysis and reflection as a way to hide from their messy, imperfect, yet wholly complete humanity. Those who have harbored their deepest, most heartfelt dreams and desires for years or even decades, yet are still reluctant to speak them aloud in the presence of others. Individuals who yearn for a place to drop the mask and be totally honest with themselves in the company of people who are ready to do the same. Travelers on the path toward acceptance, peace, and the kind of external growth that occurs as a natural byproduct of turning bravely inward.
How DOes it work?
Our first Zoom meeting will take place on Monday, November 25 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm ET and will continue to meet on that day and at that time over a 14-week period until our last session on February 24, 2020. Members will also receive two 60-minute one-on-one coaching sessions to be scheduled at any time.
Why that day and time? To open participation to people in both hemispheres, to meet each other in the dawn and in the dusk.
A flexible, thematically-based format will be used to ground our conversations; gradually we’ll explore integration of more structured aspects of masterminds such as the assigning of roles, drafting of agendas, and focused help such as the “hot seat.”
In between sessions, we’ll communicate via a private Slack workspace to share resources, stay updated on progress, process resistance, and cheer each other on.
Most of all, we’ll find the fun wherever and whenever we can.
There are six spots available in the group.
What does it cost?
$795. If you refer a friend, each of you will receive a $100 discount off your total registration.
What’s with the name?
Part of forming a cohesive group involves choosing an identity; corny and clever is as good a way to start as any.
Also, it’s time to jump. We’ll be here to catch you.
How do I register?
If you’re intrigued and want to know more, come to a free live demo!
Every Monday evening at 7:30 pm ET I’ll be hosting a demo of the group until registration closes on November 18. This is a great opportunity for us to meet one another and see if this group feels like a fit; if it does, we'll be ready to get started together on 11/25.
There is no obligation to register. Come to as many demos as you like.
When you’re ready, contact me for the Zoom invite.
Alternatively, fill out this form. From there we’ll schedule a 90-minute call to determine if this is the right thing at the right time. If you decide after the call that it’s not, that’s absolutely ok.
What if I have more questions?
Contact me. I’ll be happy to talk further with you about what you’re looking for and whether this or something else (such as a course, a book, or one-on-one coaching) is it.
